We want to recruit Community Care Officers to join our pool of committed and professional staff who can be called upon to fill our vacancies and join our Adult Social Care teams.
Our vacancies span across all districts in Nottinghamshire and include working alongside our community of Aging Well (over 65) and Living Well (under 65) adults as well our specialist maximising independence and hospital based teams. We are looking for enthusiastic people to join us on our journey to ensure individuals are given the chance to live as best they can.
About You
You will have some experience of working with members of the public and the ability to work with people with complex needs. You will have experience of either paid employment or voluntary work in a caring and supportive environment and be able to undertake reviews and assessments. You will have the opportunity to work alongside social workers and other professionals to promote an individual’s independence and well-being. A full driving licence is required and access to a car for which mileage will be paid.

Applicants will ideally already be on the DBS Update Service; if this is not the case Nottinghamshire County Council will carry out a DBS (police) check prior to starting. Due to the nature of the vacancies signing up to the update service would greatly assist candidates in ensuring the immediate up take of roles, if not already signed up to the service this can be done within 30 days of the DBS at the candidates own expense.
We hold interview panels for this post every two weeks. Your application will be reviewed as soon as we receive it for consideration at our next panel.
