This is an excellent opportunity to join Adoption East Midlands, the Regional Adoption Agency delivering adoption services on behalf of Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire, Derby City and Derbyshire, and make a positive contribution to helping children, young people and their families. The posts are in the Recruitment and Stage One Team and Adoption Support.

We are looking for enthusiastic team orientated people, who have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and are able to build effective working relationships with adoptive parents and colleagues alike. This is an integral role within the adoption team offering valuable day to day support to a team of Social Workers as well as being the first point of contact for those seeking our service and support. We are looking for people who can be flexible, multi-task, work to deadlines, are able, on occasions to work outside office hours and undertake work in the community when needed.

It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Miscrosoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook. You will be educated to GSCE Grade C or above in English and Maths or demonstrate evidence of competency at this standard.

You will be also expected to contribute to improving outcomes for children and families and understand the concept of safeguarding children and young people.

You will receive regular supervision and be part of a supportive team environment and be able to access training to further their learning.
