The posts are either specified in the Act or contained in a list which the County Council is required to prepare and maintain.  The list includes specified and sensitive positions.

About the Role:

Are you a qualified solicitor or barrister looking for a new challenging and rewarding role? We have an exciting opportunity for you! As a Commercial Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in helping us implement decisions which shape the future of Nottinghamshire County Council. This is a full-time, permanent position which will be hybrid working with occasional office attendance as the job requires.

What You'll Do:

You will join our team of go-to experts for all our contracts & commercial, and public procurement advice, providing invaluable support to the Council and schools across the county. Your expertise will help us navigate complex legal landscapes and make informed decisions. You will work closely with clients across the Council including senior officers on some challenging and exciting projects including regional project low emission vehicle infrastructure, large county projects with adult’s services and children’s services, county wide key service IT contracts, PFI contracts, and highways related contracts.

Who We're Looking For:
