Business Support Administrator
An opportunity has arisen within the Adoption East Midlands agency for a business support administrator.
This organisation has drawn together resources from four local authority areas to provide wider opportunities for adoption services to the children and families within the Nottingham Nottinghamshire Derby and Derbyshire areas.
The business support team is busy and the work is fast paced but ultimately rewarding as you are part of the team finding best outcomes for our children and families. You need to be aware that this post will require DBS check in line with regulations for adoption services.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic colleague who is committed to helping us support these important services.
This post is primarily needed to support the financial work required to run the agency and as such we are ideally looking for someone with experience in handling financial transactions such as the processing of orders, invoices and payments; support with contract management; payment of sessional allowances et cetera. You will also have developed skills using more general administrative tools contained within the Microsoft Office suite, strong organisational and communication skills.
The nominal base for this post is within Derbyshire County Hall in Matlock, although as the service area covers four local authorities the actual work base can be flexible. This would include opportunities to work from home once induction and training are completed. All these arrangements would be agreed with the manager, as would be your work pattern.
In return you will join an organisation with excellent employee terms and conditions, opportunities for career development and a management team committed to your growth and wellbeing.
