£7.76 - £8.39 A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £8.25 per hour, the maximum rate of pay is £8.39 per hour

We require a Caretaker to work within a busy school. You will be responsible for the security of the building having key holder responsibilities. You will have an excellent range of skills including building maintenance, general DIY and cleaning to a high standard. You will be able to communicate effectively with a range of people including children, staff, visitors and contractors. You will manage the cleaning staff and be responsible for ordering and control of cleaning supplies within a defined budget. You will also be responsible for the cleaning of the school.

You must have a good understanding of relevant health and safety issues and follow HSE and NCC regulations and procedures at all times. You will be committed, approachable, well-motivated and manage your time effectively to complete necessary deadlines. 

Hours of work:

Mon – Thur 6am - 9.30am and 3pm - 6pm

and

Friday 6am – 9.30am and 3pm – 5.30pm.

During school holidays you may be required to work straight through, rather than split your hours.
