£7.52 - £7.66 per hour: A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to £8.25 per hour

The Catering & Facilities Management Service are looking to employ a cleaner at the Queen Elizabeth Academy site to further enhance the cleaning standard of the site with immediate effect. The successful candidate will be required to work either between the hours 3.15pm – 5.15pm Monday to Friday or the 6:15am - 8:15am Monday to Friday. The successful candidates will be responsible for the cleanliness of a designated cleaning area within the site.

Duties will include: Vacuuming, Washroom Cleaning, Sweeping, Mopping, Dusting, Washing of furniture, Window Cleaning and occasional use of electrical clean machinery i.e. Buffing Machine and Wet Pick Up.

Queen Elizabeth Academy is a mixture of old and new building stock serving the needs of the students and community in the Mansfield area. We are therefore looking for a candidate who enjoys working in a busy environment as part of a team of staff and is able to communicate at all levels. Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. The successful candidate will play a vital role as part of a large cleaning team.

This post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to programme your daily routine to meet the needs of the site.
