We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator (to work Monday and Tuesday) who is interested in working to support social care teams to carry out their work with the children, young people and families of Nottinghamshire.  Applicants should have a flexible and adaptable manner, as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.

You will be required to support with a variety of admin tasks, including typing and formatting, scanning/uploading, data input and taking phone calls.  However, on occasion you may be asked to take minutes or fill a gap in another department, with full training provided.

The ideal candidate will be organised, able to use initiative, prioritise incoming work, problem-solve and signpost queries effectively.  You will have good listening and communication skills, experience of using common Microsoft Office packages, i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel and Sharepoint, an eye for detail and the ability to handle confidential and sometimes distressing information, in line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
