The Head Teacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a learning assistant in our Reception unit to work in our friendly and successful school. Our school is a warm welcoming community who are committed to ensuring our children ‘Learn, grow, achieve, together’.

We are looking for an individual who is caring and enthusiastic with a passion for high quality Early Years provision. You will be expected to have a flexible and creative approach to situations, be a great team member and communicator, but above all be dedicated to support the wellbeing and development of our children.

We are looking for:

  • A passionate teaching assistant who takes an active part in our community to help children to achieve their very best.
  • Someone who is able to work as part of a team alongside teachers, parents and outside agencies where appropriate.
  • A teaching assistant who is committed to inclusion who believes all children can achieve.
  • Someone who is confident, pro-active and has a positive attitude even during some challenging moments.
  • Someone who is not afraid to “Think outside the box”, get creative and doesn’t mind getting wet and muddy!
  • Someone who supports our beliefs that core values and our own school Rainbow Values should underpin all we do and are at the heart of all aspects of school.
  • Someone with relevant Early Years qualifications/experience with a good understanding of the Foundation stage curriculum and expectations.
