A qualified and experienced social worker is required for Bassetlaw Community Learning Disability Team.  The post is within an established, supportive, multi-disciplinary team which provides an assessment and care management service to adults with learning disabilities and their carers.

You should have professional experience of working with service users and carers.  Applicants will have a good working knowledge of the relevant legislative framework that informs our work. Part of this post has been created following the implementation of the Care Act and applicants should have a good working knowledge and experience of Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and making Safeguarding Personal.  Effective communication, flexibility and IT skills are essential.  This is a good opportunity for someone wishing to explore this interesting, creative and enjoyable field of work.
