£14,975 - £16,191 per annum, pro rata for part time (£7.76 - £8.39 per hour): A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £8.25 per hour, the maximum rate of pay is £8.26 per hour.

We are looking for an individual with the aim of offering and providing the highest quality of care and support to people who have learning disabilities, to live within their community, for as long as they want or need such support. You must be able to work a variety of shifts.

You must be available to work over a 7 day period, to include evening, waking nights, sleep-in, weekend and bank holiday working patterns.

Providing personal care and support where appropriate, promote independence where possible and contribute to the individual care and support plans of residents are all essential requirements of the post.

You must be able to participate in a team working environment and perform a variety of household tasks, such as cooking and cleaning. You must be able to enhance the variety of ways in which to communicate to the people that live at the home.

You must be able to be sensitive to the confidential nature of the work and have an awareness and understanding equality and diversity.

No previous experience and/ or qualifications required.
