The teaching school manager will develop and oversee the day to day running of the teaching school alliance, ensuring that it continues to grow and develop in line with the aims and principles of the flying high trust.

The role is an exciting opportunity to be part of something special, developing and supporting a wide range of schools and playing a significant role in influencing the outcomes of children.

Aims of the role

• Develop and maintain the teaching alliance partnership, working closely with all schools and school leaders from across the alliance.

• Develop and oversee our involvement in initial teacher training, ensuring that teachers are developed in line with the vision and ethos of the Flying High Trust.

• Develop and coordinate a programme of CPD for all members of the teaching alliance, ensuring strong engagement by all partners.

• Develop and coordinate the NETS CPD programme, our sold for CPD service.

• Broker and monitor the deployment of SLEs, LLEs and NLEs to support school to school support.

• Support leadership development and talent management across the alliance, working closely with Inspiring Leaders.

• Develop and coordinate research activity across the alliance

• Coordinate and oversee a process of peer review, involving all schools within the alliance.

• Support the work of the trust project manager, supporting the conversion of schools joining the academy trust.

• Ensure a sustainable business model for the teaching school alliance.
