Inspire’s Community Learning and Skills Service is keen to recruit to its team of sessional Community Learning tutors. We are looking for tutors who are able to deliver Community Learning courses under our employability and health and wellbeing provision. In addition, we are looking for tutors to deliver Family Learning programmes and provision for learners with learning difficulties and disabilities.

We are looking to appoint high quality tutors who will be able to deliver an exciting and inspiring curriculum as the Service endeavours to become an outstanding provider of Community Learning.

Courses are delivered at community venues across the county, therefore travelling around the county will be necessary. The positions will be offered on a casual worker basis with tutors being contracted to deliver specific courses as appropriate.

You need to be qualified to at least grade A-C in GCSE English and maths (or equivalent). You will also need to hold a teaching qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, DET, or equivalent).

The salary is based on our Grade 5 tutor post. The salary will be paid for each hour of course delivery and includes the additional time spent on planning, administration and marking associated with the course along with leave entitlement.

New applicants will be shortlist for interview at the end of each month.
