An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Integrated Strategic Commissioning Team for a Senior Commissioning Officer, based within our Ageing Well commissioning team. Working closely in partnership with colleagues across health, neighbouring local authorities, the voluntary sector, providers and people who use services and their families, the post-holder will be responsible for coordinating the support to all-age carers including commissioning of services and implementation of the ICS carers strategy.

You will have a high level of personal drive, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders to influence and enact change. A minimum of 3 years commissioning experience, including the production of service specifications and contract monitoring is essential. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to collate and analyse complex data sources, produce high-quality reports and set and deliver against service targets. Supporting the commissioning manager, you will also feed into team and departmental planning processes and performance monitoring against the service plans.

The work covers the whole of the County, and the team is based at County Hall, West Bridgford. A hybrid model is in place with team members working either from home or Council buildings with an expectation of attendance in the office base at least once per week. A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable as there will be some requirement for attending meetings and engagement sessions around the county (a taxi service will be provided where disability precludes this).

If you are offered an interview and are unavailable on this date then we will try to make alternative arrangements.
