Youth Worker - UASC
The Youth Service provides high quality, safe and enjoyable social education activities for young people. We offer safe spaces, trusted youth workers and fun and engaging things to do.
We are looking for a qualified and highly skilled youth worker to work closely with the Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children Team, Looked After and Leaving Care Service to build positive relationships with UASC and support them to meet their educational needs. Furthermore, to enable these young people to access additional support depending on their individual need, alongside creating opportunities for them to independently access mainstream universal provision. The offer will be carefully designed to enable long term contextual support at the earliest opportunity, as well as focused and tailored youth work interventions, when needed. You must have a proven track record in working with young people and partners to deliver projects, programmes and activities that strive for and produce high quality youth work outcomes.
