This is an exciting opportunity for Social Workers to specialise in out of hours Emergency Duty work. The successful candidate has at least 3 years post-qualifying experience in either statutory Child Care and Child Protection or Mental Health (A.M.H.P. desirable). You must have a broad and detailed knowledge of all statutory functions of Social Care and Health Services (including legislation/guidance). You will have experience of statutory work in more than one service area.

You will undertake a regular shift pattern and provide colleague cover. You are a confident, resilient and resourceful professional and will undertake responsibilities across the Social Work spectrum. You will also participate in a standby rota covering the overnight period. This post carries a car user allowance or taxi service for disabled employees.
