County Supplies is a purchasing and distribution business, one of Nottinghamshire County Council's trading services. We produce an annual 1100 page colour catalogue which displays some 12000 products to our 3000 active customers. In addition, we feature our own web-site from which we offer fully integrated on-line ordering.

Based at our premises at Calverton Business Park, we are looking for a leading manager for all County Supplies procurement and marketing activities including contract management, price management, supplier performance, catalogue production and promotional activity.

You will manage the Catalogue Supply team and be accountable directly to the County Supplies Manager for all Catalogue Supply functions.

You will be CIP's or CIM qualified with 3 years in a management role.

You will have understanding of purchasing and supply management and proven product management experience in a catalogue consumer goods environment. 

You will be able to demonstrate commercial  acumen and effective negotiation skills, and have an up to date understanding of e-commerce, and public sector procurement.
