Part Time Community Care Officer
An opportunity has arisen within the Countywide Community Deprivation of Liberty Team based at Lawn View House Sutton in Ashfield.
We are looking for enthusiastic a highly motivated Community Care Officer who wants to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable adults within the community.
The Community Deprivation of Liberty Team is a relatively new team that provides a service to individuals who live in a community setting that is in receipt of a funded service via Adult Social Care Health and Public Protection who may appear to be meet the criteria for a Deprivation of Liberty and the Court of Protection Process.
In addition to experience of working with service users and carers you will have knowledge of the The Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Best Interests knowledge. You will be flexible and have the ability to work across the county with different Younger Adult Teams, Shared lives and Extra Care and have effective communication and ICT skills.
You will receive regular supervision, and be supported to attend training to progress your career.
