The staff, governors and children of Worksop Priory C of E Primary Academy are wishing to appoint an experienced class teacher for our Y2 class and to lead the KS1 team.
The Staff and Governors are seeking a candidate who can:
ü Provide evidence of very good or outstanding teaching over time
ü Highlight experience as an effective KS1 Lead or very successful Year 2 teacher
ü Fit quickly into a busy and dedicated team
ü Communicate effectively
ü Show keenness to undertake professional development to enhance their practice
ü Show understanding and empathy to the needs of young learners in the Worksop area
ü Go the extra mile
ü Show resilience, have a sense of humour and have a positive outlook
The children are seeking a candidate who can:
ü Make lessons fun, exciting and challenging
ü Teach lots of lessons away from the normal classroom environment
ü Be kind and caring
ü Create and support extra-curricular activities within a rich and varied wider school life
Applicants are asked to make an appointment to meet the Headteacher, for an informal visit of the school. Further information about the post can be obtained at this point. A number of appointments out of school hours are available.
