£7.52 - £7.66 per hour: A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to £8.45 per hour

Nottinghamshire County Council’s, Building Cleaning Service are looking to employ new cleaning staff at Alderman White School. The successful candidates will work as part of a team, to ensure that the highest standards of cleaning are achieved. The working times are between 6.00 to 8.30am and 3.30 to 6.00pm Monday to Friday, however we can offer a choice of either morning, afternoon positions or both at present, these also with some degree of flexibility in school closure periods.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the cleanliness of a designated area within the School. Duties will include: Vacuuming, Washroom Cleaning, Sweeping, Mopping, Dusting and Glass Cleaning. (Occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. Buffing Machine and Wet Pick Up may be required).

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. This post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site.
