The staff, governors and children of Westdale Infant School are wishing to appoint an experienced KS1 class teacher to join our Central Leadership Team.  

You will lead a core subject/school improvement priority area within school which can be negotiated upon successful appointment. Please state your strengths when applying for the post.  

The staff and governors are seeking a candidate who can:

-       Provide evidence of a very good/outstanding teaching over time

-       Highlight experience as an effective and very successful KS1 teacher

-       Fit quickly into a busy and dedicated team

-       Lead a core subject/priority within school

-       Communicate effectively with all stakeholders

-       Show resilience, have a sense of humour and a positive outlook

The children are seeking a candidate who can:

-       Make lessons fun, exciting and challenging

-       Teach lots of lessons away from the normal classroom environment

-       Be kind and caring

-       Create a fabulous learning environment for them
