A temporary manager is required for Day Services North to cover maternity leave. The successful applicant will work across the north of the county and holds responsibility for the day to day operational management and care of service users who attend services in Worksop, Ollerton and Newark.

Day services offer care and support to adults with learning disability, physical disability, mental health needs and older people including those with dementia. The service is committed to supporting people in ways that maximise their independence by maintaining existing skills and enhancing well-being.

You will be a skilled manager of people and will be able to demonstrate that you can lead, coach and motivate a team of experienced staff to ensure delivery of a high quality service. You will have a person centred approach to providing services and will be able to demonstrate good skills in working with service users, families and other agencies  You will be part of the countywide day services management team and be able to contribute to the continued development of the service within Nottinghamshire. It is expected that you will possess or be working towards a recognised management qualification.
