The Catering & Facilities Management Service are seeking to employ a Mobile Cleaner (base to be arranged) to join our existing Mobile Team within the Ashfield area. The successful applicant will be required to help with the sickness cover for NCC buildings, fire stations and schools, currently numbering 65 sites.

We are committed to high working standards in the Ashfield Area, and need a Mobile Cleaner who is eager to maintain these values and work as part of a valued team. The successful candidate will be required to work between the hours of 6am – 8am and 3:30pm-5:30pm and on occasions 6am - 8:30am and 3:30pm-6pm working flexibly to meet the changing needs of the sites. The successful candidate will be able to drive and be a car owner with a clean driving license. Travel expenses will be paid to and from the base.

We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working in a busy environment and who is able to communicate at all levels. Experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be given. Duties will include: vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing of furniture and window cleaning (plus occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. buffing machine and wet pick-up). Protective clothing and other PPE will be provided as required.
