The Catering & Facilities Management Service is looking to employ an additional cleaner at Minster School, to further enhance the cleaning standards within the site with immediate effect. The vacancy is a Term Time Only + 5 weeks deep clean contact. You will be required to work between the hours of 3.30pm to 8.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday then 2.30pm to 7.30pm on a Wednesday. Please note during the 5 deep cleaning weeks, which are done in the school holiday periods, the working hours will change. You will enjoy working in a busy environment, as part of a team of staff and who are able to communicate at all levels.

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Duties will include: vacuuming; washroom cleaning; sweeping; mopping; dusting; washing of furniture, window cleaning and occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. buffing machine and wet pick-ups. You will play a vital role as part of a large team of cleaning staff, however, this post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site. Protective clothing and other PPE will be provided as required.
