The Catering & Facilities Management Service are looking to employ a Cleaner in Charge at Hawtonville Young Peoples Centre to further enhance the cleaning standards within the site with immediate effect. You will be required to work between the hours of 6.00am to 8.00am Monday to Friday. Duties include opening / closing of the site along with the cleaning duties of all the site daily.

We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working for their own job satisfaction & that does not mind the fact that this position is one of lone working. You must also be able to communicate at all levels. Experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be given. Duties will include: opening of the site; vacuuming; washroom cleaning; sweeping; mopping; dusting; washing of furniture and window cleaning (plus occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery i.e. buffing machine and wet pick-up).

You will play a vital role to ensure the site is clean, safe & secure for the users & visitors to the site. This post is one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative, and you will be expected to programme your daily routine to meet the needs of the site. Protective clothing and other PPE will be provided as required.
