We are looking to recruit an Employment Development Worker at Brooke farm Employment training Hub.

The position is for 18.5 hours Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning.

The Employment Development Workers team provide training and support to trainees with Learning Disabilities and Autism  in a range of work activities. This training includes Retail experience in our Farm shop and Garden Centre, Food Service in our new Café, as well as a wide range of Horticultural skills.

Brooke farm is a pick your own fruit and flower farm across a 17-acre site with greenhouses and a small garden centre so practical training experience in Horticulture with people with disabilities would be ideal for this position.
We also have a smaller sister site in Newark which is solely dedicated to Horticultural work training where we produce many of the vegetables that we sell at Brooke farm.
At our unique rural environment, we support our Hub trainees to gain relevant transferable skills in a real, safe, working environment where we focus on individual needs, strengths, and goals with a view to securing long term sustainable paid employment.

A full UK driving licence is required for this role, a taxi service will be provided where disability precludes this.

For an informal discussion about these positions or if you wish to visit Brooke farm to see our facilities then please contact the Team Manager on 0115 9632638.
