An exciting opportunity has arisen in the District Child Protection Teams in Nottinghamshire for permanent Service Manager Posts in Newark and Bassetlaw and Ashfield District Child Protection Teams.

The role involves the leadership and management of the District Child Protection Teams in these areas.  The Teams provide a service to all children who require a longer term social work service through a child in need or child protection plan.

You will have an approachable personality and most importantly have a passion for working with children and young people, complemented by the ability to identify opportunities for these service areas and lead their development and implementation.

You must have a Social Work qualification and be Social Work England registered. A full driving licence is also required, a taxi service will be provided where disability precludes this.

We are committed to embedding a strengths-based approach to our work with service users, partner agencies, and our own staff, and you can find out more about this here.

If you feel that you have the skills and experience that we’re looking for, then we’d encourage you to submit an application. If you’d like to have an informal discussion about the role, you can contact Amanda Collinson, Group Manager, on 0115 8040792 or amanda.collinson@nottscc.gov.uk
