Children’s Services in Nottinghamshire are embarking upon an exciting period of change, embedding strengths-based approaches in our work with children and families and embracing new ways of working together with partner agencies to achieve better outcomes for children and young people.

This role provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced social work qualified leader to join an established, creative and supportive leadership team. You will have (subject to review) responsibility for the District Child Protection Teams, The Court Teams and the Permanence teams. It’s a rewarding yet challenging job, essentially managing the longer term help and protection work in Nottinghamshire, supporting its most vulnerable children and families.

If you are committed to being part of a supportive learning environment, have significant experience of leading social work services, successfully working in collaboration with partner agencies, together with a strong strengths based approach to practice and leadership we want to hear from you.

To arrange an informal discussion about the post, please contact Steve Edwards, Service Director – Youth Families and Social Work, steve.edwards@nottscc.gov.uk.
