Midday Supervisor

The Governors of Gunthorpe C of E Primary School are looking to appoint a caring, friendly, enthusiastic person to work as a Midday Supervisor to work one hour per day (12noon to 1pm), 5 days a week, term time only, as part of an effective lunchtime team.  We would also welcome applicants who may wish to work 2, 3 or 4 hours per week.

The role involves serving the children lunch, ensuring they eat well and that their eating area is kept clean and tidy as well as supervising and supporting the children. The cleaning and clearing away of tables and packing away the dining hall.  Outdoors, the role involves supervising the children within our grounds and encouraging them to play appropriate games, as well as other related duties.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with young children, is motivated, well-organised, hard-working and has good behaviour management skills and be willing to undergo any training that is required.
