Scale 2 – Point 9 – 13 (pro rata)

Our popular and well subscribed Breakfast Club requires a new Leader to coordinate a team of two staff to enable a positive and active start to the day for up to 40 children each morning.

Required Monday to Friday 7.30-9.00am

Required as soon as possible.

The post will involve:

  • Supervising children before the school day.
  • leading a well established and friendly team of two Breakfast Club Assistants.
  • Being responsible for implementing school policies and systems in the Breakfast Club.
  • Liaising with school staff.
  • Liaising with parents and carers.
  • Providing productive activities for children to take part in both inside and outside school
  • Setting up and putting away equipment.
  • Supporting children with eating a healthy breakfast.

Shortlisted applicants will have the opportunity to demonstrate the following attributes at interview :

  • Experience of working with children.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A desire and ideas to make the start to the school day a positive transition.
  • A high understanding of confidentiality.
  • An interest/ability to lead outdoor sport activities
