£7.52 - £7.66 per hour: A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to £8.25 per hour

The Catering & Facilities Management Service are looking to employ a cleaner at Sir Edmund Hillary Primary School site to further enhance the cleaning standards of the site with immediate effect.

You will be required to work either between the hours 3.30pm – 6pm Monday to Friday and you will be responsible for the cleanliness of a designated cleaning area within the site.

Duties will include: Vacuuming, Washroom Cleaning, Sweeping, Mopping, Dusting, Wash of furniture and Window Cleaning. (Occasional use of electrical clean machinery i.e. Buffing Machine and Wet Pick Up). We are therefore looking for candidates who enjoy working in a busy environment as part of a team of staff and able to communicate at all levels.

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given.

Although you will play a vital role as part of a large team of cleaning staff this post is predominately one where you will be expected to work using your own initiative and you will be expected to program your daily routine to meet the needs of the site.
