We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Assistant Site Manager for our friendly school. The person we are looking for needs to be energetic, hardworking and take great pride in how our school looks and functions including maintaining our high standards of cleanliness. He/she will work under the supervision of our Site Manager.

The successful candidate will have a good range of skills including building and grounds maintenance, general DIY and cleaning. He/she will be able to communicate effectively with a range of people including children, staff, parents and contractors. In addition they will need to be competent in completing paperwork associated with the upkeep and functioning of the school. They will also be committed, approachable and well-motivated.

The post includes responsibility for:

•Security of the premises and its contents (including the operation of the fire alarm and security system and key holder responsibility). This may include unsocial hours callouts.

•Lighting, heating and cleaning of the premises

•Porterage and handyperson duties

•Minor repairs and occasional gardening

•An ability to work as part of a team.
