£7.97 - £8.55 per hour. A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £8.75 per hour.
An opportunity has arisen at the busy Beeston Library for a Library Assistant, working 6.5 hours every Saturday between 9am – 4pm.
You will provide direct customer service to people of all ages and backgrounds, talking to customers, assisting them with their choice of books, supporting them in the use of computers and providing information. You should have experience of working with the public, in a paid or voluntary capacity, and must have good customer service skills. You must be friendly, helpful, and flexible. You will be able to work accurately and well under pressure. An interest in public libraries and the services they provide is an essential requirement of the post.
