Nottinghamshire County Council Catering & Facilities Management Department, in conjunction with The Sir Donald Bailey Academy School require a new 25-hour per week Part Time Cleaner in Charge.

You will be the main key holder and be expected to attend alarm call-outs, & be responsible for unlocking & securing the site on a daily basis. You will be expected to deliver the full range of caretaking, minor maintenance, janitorial and cleaning duties for the benefit of pupils, parents and staff. There are also duties outside which include gritting & litter picking. The position also involves assisting the cleaning team on site under the instruction of the Site Manager & Local Area Manager.

Sir Donald Bailey Academy School is a high achieving friendly school, and is keen to enhance its reputation in the wider community. A clean and tidy school inside and out is essential for this, and we wish to appoint someone who will develop an attachment to the school and take pride in its appearance. Being able to use their own intuitive & be a good team player. Working a split shift, 5.45am – 8.15am and 4.00pm – 6.30pm Monday to Friday, (the hours would on occasions need to be more flexible).

You should have a keen eye for detail, be smart in appearance, wearing a provided uniform and need to be flexible in your approach to lettings, for which additional payments will be made.
