Circa £35,000 full time to be reviewed as ASPIRE grows

The ASPIRE Multi-Academy Trust is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, qualified and experienced Finance & Business Manager to lead the development and consolidation of our financial and related operations. Whilst currently consisting of five primary schools in Nottinghamshire, we believe we have an ethos worth sharing and our vision is for ASPIRE to grow significantly in the coming years. The role of Finance & Business Manager is therefore a very significant one … and we need to appoint the right person to help us carry our vision forward. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity!

Working with the newly-appointed Chief Executive Officer, the MAT Board of Directors and Academy Business Managers, the Finance & Business Manager will provide specific expertise in long-term financial management and short-term operational procedures and practices, ensuring that all requirements of the Department for Education and Education Funding Agency are met.

An important element of the new role will be to support the development of ASPIRE’s growth strategy and sustainability plan, exploring a range of initiatives to develop new provision, generate income and ensure increased levels of financial sustainability which will ultimately lead to better outcomes for children.

Believing that great relationships are at the heart all successful organisations, we are looking to appoint someone with excellent inter-personal skills, and able to establish and maintain consistently positive relationships throughout and beyond ASPIRE … since this is a journey which we all want to enjoy!

If you think you may fit the bill, please email Lisa Hampson, Company Secretary, to request an application pack and/or to arrange an informal discussion about the role with Martyn Skinner ( CEO Designate) or Peter Golightly (Chair of MAT Board). Email Lisa at office@st-peters.notts.sch.uk
