A vacancy has arisen for a Team Leader in Adult Care Financial Services. The post holder will manage a team responsible for providing support to service users who lack the capacity to manage their own finances. This includes identifying and claiming benefit entitlement, negotiating with creditors where service users have got into debt and supporting service users to make decisions on how they want to spend their money.
We are looking for an experienced manager who is committed to continuous improvement and best value in the service area. The ability to communicate effectively with your team, social workers, relatives and other stakeholders is essential. You will be enthusiastic, dynamic and customer focused. You will provide leadership and support to your team and other colleagues. You will be able to demonstrate on going professional development. Knowledge of Welfare Benefits, Mental Capacity Act, Care Act and Nottinghamshire Council Council's strategic priorities is desirable.
