Temporary Part Time Library Service Advisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Library Service Advisor in the Keyworth Cluster of libraries working at Ruddington Library. The library serves a vibrant village community in the south of the county and is located in the centre of the village. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and highly motivated individual to join our team in delivering excellent library services. You must have experience of working with the public and as part of a team, and provide consistent levels of high quality customer service. An interest in libraries and the services they provide is an essential requirement of the post. You will have experience of using computers and should be able to use ICT competently and securely. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to treat all customers with fairness and respect. You will have the ability to plan and deliver a wide range of library related events, and assist in promoting the library service in the community.

The timetable is worked over a 2-week rota and includes one Saturday in two. Flexibility to work the timetable as stated and a willingness to work additional or different hours in other libraries on an occasional basis as required is important.
