Fixed Term Peripatetic Team Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Adult Social Care Management Team, to support the department’s delivery of agreed objectives relating to promoting independence, identifying and sharing the use of best practise and ensuring timely and proportionate assessments.
We are looking for a Peripatetic Team Manager to work flexibly with the existing management team. This post will be deployed based on where the greatest pressures are across the structure but will nominally be assigned to either Younger or Older Adults Services.
The role will be fast paced and varied covering areas such as:
- Safeguarding and authorising DoLS
- Quality assurance of Assessments and Support Plans
- Embedding new and different practises to support the Adult Social Care Strategy
- Managing Social Care Staff
- Working across teams to identify variations in practice and support Group and Team Managers to deliver against locality plans
- To provide urgent business continuity
