SEN Teaching Assistant
Executive Head Teacher: Diane Ward, Roll: 465, 30 hours per week
The governors are seeking to appoint a temporary SEN Teaching Assistant to assist with the support and education of a child in year 1 who presents with challenging behaviour.
The successful candidate should have the ability to establish and develop a productive working relationship with the child, work as a member of a committed staff team and develop a positive relationship with parents/carers and outside agencies. Some experience of working with children with ASD or ADHD would be an advantage.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and this post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and other checks as part of the safeguarding process.
