Health and Safety Manager

R.E.A.L. Education are a market leading organisation who provide specialist education services to children and young people across the East Midlands. As part of its structure, the R.E.A.L. group consists of two independent schools based in Nottinghamshire as well as numerous other vocational and educational learning hubs. 

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Health & Safety professional, to play a fundamental role within the group of companies to ensure that our staff, children and young people are provided with a first class, safe working environment. 

This exciting role will offer a broad range of opportunities for a motivated and driven professional, keen on growing the business in line with the vision of the board of directors. 

Working closely with the board, you will be responsible for ensuring the group fulfils its statutory obligations in respect of Health & Safety through implementation and review of policy and procedures, inspections, audits and reporting. Furthermore you will provide training and guidance for the team at R.E.A.L., as well as be responsible for the growth of external Health & Safety services for other providers, schools and organisations across the Midlands. 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in providing high quality Health & Safety services within the field of education, social care, or other relevant local government settings.
