An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Care Manager to work alongside the Registered Care Manager to lead and inspire our skilled staff team at Lyndene Residential Children’s Home in Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire. Lyndene is home to three children.  

We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years’ experience working in a children’s residential home caring for children with emotional and behavioural needs.

Lyndene received a judgement of Good with Outstanding leadership and management at the last OFSTED inspection. Our ambition is for our home be an Outstanding provision moving forwards.

You will be an inspirational leader who can manage and develop our confident and well established team in the delivery of high-quality care and service that puts children first. The ideal candidate will have an approachable personality and most importantly have a passion for working with children and young people.

The appointed manager will be expected to provide a strength based, child centered approach to achieve the best outcomes for our children in a positive and safe environment, complying with Children’s Home Regulations and Quality Standards.

You will be working with a variety of stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and acting as a role model for your team.
