The Business Support service requires a part-time business support administrator to work alternate Wednesdays and every Thursday/Friday, as the second half of a job-share role.

We are looking for an experienced administrator, to provide support to busy front line social work teams, to complete a range of functions which enables the social care teams to carry out their work with the children, young people and families of Nottinghamshire.

This work is often challenging but rewarding. You will require a broad range of skills including excellent keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook. You will require an eye for detail, be organised and able to work on your own initiative. You will possess good problem-solving skills and will demonstrate a flexible and professional attitude with the full appreciation of the need for confidentiality and in line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).  You will have excellent customer service skills to be able to deal with people sensitively and treat all customers with respect and consideration.

You will be able to prioritise a busy and varied workload, working quickly, following processes with accuracy to meet strict deadlines. Duties will include data input and manipulation, researching queries and effective signposting, arranging documentation and providing accurate information, liaising with other social care colleagues and external professionals, in relation to social work tasks and timescales
