Part Time Member Support Officer
Based within the Democratic Services Team you will provide assistance and cover as required to the PA to Committee Chairmen to help deliver proactive and comprehensive business support to the Chairmen of various Council Committees. You will also be responsible for the provision of business support to backbench members of the Council’s ruling group at the busiest times of the day.
You will have experience in dealing with written, telephone and email correspondence, diary management, maintaining effective filing systems and providing basic ICT advice and support to others, within a busy working environment.
You must be capable of working with minimal supervision, prioritising your personal workload effectively, and handling politically sensitive and confidential information in a secure and legally compliant manner.
