Nottinghamshire’s Support to Schools Service is undertaking a period of change as it continues to respond to the changing national educational agenda. This Council is committed to ensuring that every Nottinghamshire child and young person has access to a publicly funded school which is good or outstanding.

This Team Manager will oversee the delivery of a range of education services that fulfil the Council’s statutory duties for maintained schools requiring improvement. This service is also developing an effective sold offer of education services which complements CPD provided by MATs and TSAs as well as addressing gaps in provision. The Service provides services and CPD both within and beyond the County.

As the Council’s vision is implemented over the coming years, this post holder will play a key role in further developing new relationships with schools, academies, MATs and other external partners to ensure Nottinghamshire families access the best education possible. 

You should have extensive experience of the education sector, leading and managing teams during periods of change and transformation and will be able to work positively with a small team of highly experienced and expert education advisers and consultants.
