This role is based in our Children’s Services department, Nottinghamshire County Council’s Youth Justice Team. We are currently seeking a Case Manager to work in our South Nottinghamshire locality team, based in West Bridgford, covering Rushcliffe, Gedling and Broxtowe.

Furthermore, this post requires a formal relevant professional qualification e.g. Social Work, Probation or an NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in a closely related field.

This post operates within a case management model. As the key professional you will be required to work with the young person and others to deliver the assessment, planning and intervention with a view to reducing their likelihood of becoming involved in offending, re-offending, risk of harm and manage their safety and wellbeing. In addition to the above, the post holder is also required to represent the Youth Justice Service in Court, thus candidates will need to have strong written and verbal communication skills.

A Senior Case Manager role will involve responsibility for complex and public protection cases, provision of support and oversight of the work of colleagues.
