An exciting opportunity is available for you to progress your career in Adult Care Living Well Services across the County.

We are encouraging applications from Occupational Therapists, with at least two years Band B experience, to join our Living Well Teams as Senior Practitioners on a temporary basis. We are looking for committed and skilled professionals, with Practice Educator, BIA, or AMHP qualifications.

As an Occupational Therapist Senior Practitioner, you will work with other senior colleagues to promote the value of Occupational Therapy interventions within our innovation and strengths-based work. You will supervise a small number of staff and support the day to day running of the team in this important leadership role.

Your ability to manage a small complex caseload and promote good evidence-based practice as a practice lead will be a key part of this role. As will your ability to maintain and develop positive working relationships with borough councils and other partner agencies.

You will be part of the wider OT leadership team and receive clinical supervision on an ongoing basis to support your development in the role. If you are thinking of developing your skills and experience in this temporary leadership role and taking advantage of further CPD opportunities, we would like to hear from you.

Appointment to this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.

Nottinghamshire County Council strives to ensure that it goes beyond the requirements of the Equalities Act and prides itself on being accredited as a Disability Confident Leader Organisation.

Therefore, the County Council encourages applications from all, irrespective of gender, marital status, disability, race, religion, belief, pregnancy and maternity status, age or sexual orientation.
