We are seeking to appoint a Child and Family Support Officer to start as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, conscientious, talented and caring. You must have a professional approach to work, joining our committed team at our well established school. The successful candidate will further enhance our inclusive vision and will continue to support our growing school achieve the best possible outcomes for all children.  

In order to fulfil this role, the successful candidate will: 

  • contribute to further raising achievement by promoting high levels of attendance and punctuality
  • make contact with parents/carers, assess reasons for student absence and facilitate their return to regular full time attendance
  • Have Designated Person safeguarding responsibilities and will support with the management of safeguarding across the school
  • Provide early support to families working in partnership with a range of external agencies
