Fixed Term Assistive Technology Advisor
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who can help promote the use of Assistive Technology (AT) to enable vulnerable people to continue living safely and independently in the community. You will assess referrals from social care staff, partner agencies and the general public, providing advice on how AT solutions can help to manage risks, support daily living activities and provide cost effective care. You will arrange for service partners to install appropriate solutions. You will have experience of working in health, housing or social care, and a good understanding of how AT can be used to support vulnerable people, including people with age related frailty, dementia, physical or learning disabilities, and mental health issues. Training will be provided to further enhance your knowledge. This is a changing area of work, and you will be required to keep up to date with new AT solutions.
