Do you have the experience to provide a comprehensive portfolio office function to support the Adult Social Care department deliver key aspects of its departmental plan and Social Care Reform programme, which will make things better for the people we support?  

Over the next 12 months Adult Social Care will be managing a dynamic portfolio of change, and we are looking for a Principal Portfolio Officer to join our Adult Social Care Service Improvement, Quality and Practice Team to provide expert skills and knowledge that will help us maintain a high-quality benefit tracking and reporting system to key stakeholders. 

Another important part of this role will be to support Adult Social Care department in ensuring it has a robust governance structure in place, good systems and processes to support its risk management framework and senior leaders are kept up to date with all aspects of the Department of Health and Social Care’s Adult Social Care Reform requirements. 

Do you have excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate training with colleagues? Do you have the ability to pilot and adopt new technologies and processes, and encourage people to use them? Are you able to produce high quality presentations and use MS Office 360 Applications?
