£14,975 - £16,191 p.a (£7.76 - £8.39 per hour). A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £8.25 per hour, the maximum rate of pay is £8.39 per hour

We require a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the Business Support team within the Education Improvement Service.

Your duties will include word processing documents, data input, arranging conferences and training courses, booking venues, processing financial transactions and general administrative support for the work of the service.

The successful candidate will need to possess excellent telephone and communication skills along with a genuine commitment to deliver a high standard of business and administrative support. You will have strong keyboard and IT skills and be competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Databases and e-mail. Accuracy is an essential requirement as the post holder will be expected to undertake the proof reading of documents and assist with the production of marketing and promotional material. You must be able to prioritise your workload, work under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will need to be proactive and work on your own initiative whilst being part of a wider team. A commitment to customer care and equal opportunities together with awareness of health and safety issues are also essential.

Interviews will take place during October with a view to the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.
