Part Time Community Care Officer - 2 posts
The Physical Disability Team provides support to young adults in the South of Nottinghamshire.
This is a flexible role which will include the assessment of needs for young people with physical disabilities and related issues and the creation of innovative plans to support people's independence. The role will also support the on-going development of the Team's Hub worker approach. As a result we are looking for people who have experience of working with adults in a care setting.
You will need to have a flexible approach to work, be organised, with an ability to work on your own initiative. You will be a good communicator and put customers first. Having experience of using IT systems is an advantage in this role, as is the need to be creative and adaptable to change. In return for your commitment and hard work we can provide a supportive multi-disciplinary team environment, a strong ethos of supervision and support, and a comprehensive suite of training to help you develop your career in Adult Social Care.
Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
